Note:These pages make extensive use of the latest XHTML and CSS Standards. They ought to look great in any standards-compliant modern browser. Unfortunately, they will probably look horrible in older browsers, like Netscape 4.x and IE 4.x. Moreover, many posts use MathML, which is, currently only supported in Mozilla. My best suggestion (and you will thank me when surfing an ever-increasing number of sites on the web which have been crafted to use the new standards) is to upgrade to the latest version of your browser. If that's not possible, consider moving to the Standards-compliant and open-source Mozilla browser.

Category Theory Calendar

Posted by John Baez

There are now enough online events in category theory that a calendar is needed. And here it is!

It should show the times in your time zone, at least if you don’t prevent it from getting that information.

Is there a video of Kevin Buzzard’s April 1st talk anywhere?

Re: Category Theory Calendar

I’ve been told that my friend Jamie Vicary made videos using an archaic system that produced separate sound and video files. He is now hard at work, cursing and pounding his desk, attempting to combine these into a single file. If he succeeds, they should announce it here:

Re: Category Theory Calendar

Who can add entries to that calendar? It would be nice to have Categorical Probability and Statistics listed there.

Re: Category Theory Calendar

Yes, it would be good to add that. I’m a bit confused, but I’m pretty sure the calendar is being managed by Daniel Geisler at the Category Theory Community Server. I urge you to give him—and anyone else who is involved in managing this calendar—the information you have by going here.
