Best wishes to you and Lisa for many happy years ahead!
…no, it’s just too tempting…
Are you sure you’re not rushing into things?
Congratulations!!
I’m glad someone else said this first (although perhaps I shouldn’t be, since I seem compelled to top every remark I see in sheer silliness).
Congratulations and felicitations once more!
Huzzah!
Wishing you and the bride a long, healthy, happy, prosperous life together. May you continue to share your awe of this wondrous universe with your wife and your friends for many, many years to come.
Thanks to all of you, especially David! It was a strange sensation checking out the n-Category Café this morning and seeing a post titled ‘Congratulations!’ Strange, but nice.
Since people like to see this sort of thing:
Our friend the anthropologist Al Fix served as solemnizer, as shown here. Also attending were his wife Betsy, my aunt Marilyn Goudzwaard, and our friend Lothar von Falkenhausen. Our other relatives were unable to attend. But that’s okay: the big party will take place later this year, on our 20th anniversary of being together — April Fool’s Day!
I hope you’ll forgive me for saying that judging from the photographic evidence, the “solemnizer” does not appear to be doing a good job of “solemnizing” the event. It certainly appears to lack gravitas (clearly having been conducted in flat, Minkowski spacetime).
Congratulations! My warmest regards go to you all, along with my wishes for a great party and a happy future.

No wonder I was walking on air!
Thanks!
Congratulations!
Happy times! Plus, I have to thank you for giving me some happy gossip to share with my wife. “Remember the Riverside Guy? He got married!” :)
Congratulations (echoing an email I sent off-line).
“Are you sure you’re not rushing into things?” this generalizes to the case whose instantiations have the form:
“We’ve been together 50 years so far. It’s not perfect. I figure, I’ll give the relationship another 50 years, and if it still hasn’t worked out, I’m leaving.”
I was actually at a 60th wedding anniversary of a great-aunt and -uncle once, at a club in New York City. I asked the female relative: “What is it like being married to the same man for 60 years?”
She said, with a wink: “He’s NOT the same man!”
Yip!
Heartfelt congratulations! Wish you many years together.
She looks cool in the sari!
Best wishes to both!
Warm wishes to you both on this special event.
Lisa looks lovely in the sari, with the earings, hairdo and big smile. And John of course you’re our categorical handsome :)
You both are lucky!
Big cheers!
Hooray!

I don’t know happy theory, so I will wish you both an analytic continuation following your new result in knot theory.
Re: Congratulations!
Cool! Congratulations to you both.
