Conference: Lie Algebroids and Lie Groupoids in Differential Geometry

In October 2007 there will be a four-day conference in Sheffield on Lie algebroids and Lie groupoids in Differential Geometry, organized by Kirill Mackenzie and Ieke Moerdijk.

On the afternoon of Thursday October 25 there will be talks by Larry Breen (Paris) and Alberto Cattaneo (Zürich) which are intended to be accessible to a general mathematical audience. This session will be the annual northern region meeting of the London Mathematical Society and will be open to everyone interested in the UK.

Over Friday 26, Saturday 27 and the morning of Sunday 28 there will be a series of (approximately) one-hour talks by
