Heterotic Beast (the forum software that runs this forum) has been updated from Rails 3.2 to Rails 8.1. Many bugs were squashed along the way.

As a part of the upgrade, we switched authentication mechanisms. As a consequence, all users will have to reset their passwords, by clicking on the link on the login page.
